Back from Istanbul

Well, it's back to work after a very pleasant sojourn in Istanbul.  Apart from the carpet sellers and restaurant hawkers - all was well.  Even managed a trip up the Bosphorous and a climb up the Galata Tower.  Very pleasant.  Apart from the fact that my friend and her husband planted the ditty 'Istanbul, Constantinople' (which we think is from a Bob Hope movie) into our heads.  Every day I woke up to the call for prayer from the Blue Mosque, swiftly followed by 'Istanbul, Constantinople' - only those two words - going over and over in my head.  

It could have been worse.  I look forward to a return visit.
